CAST BIOGRAPHIES

Dain Geist is a professional actor currently working in Houston, Texas. Past credits include Enemies, Love and Information, Fallen Angels, Love Goes to Press, The Coast of Utopia Trilogy (Main Street Theater); The Government Inspector, Doctor Faustus, Hamlet, Ubu Roi (Classical Theatre Company); Anthony & Cleopatra, As You Like It, Othello, Taming of the Shrew (Houston Shakespeare Festival), and The Effect (Houston Equity Festival). With a MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School, Mr. Geist is currently an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University and is a member of Actors Equity Association since 2014.

Kat Mermelstein

Kat Mermelstein

 

With a strong background in stage combat and martial arts and a flair for tough, edgy characters, Kat loves to take on the most dynamic and challenging projects. Kat has appeared on several networks, including Discovery ID, G4, and TLC. They've appeared in commercials for companies such as Home Depot, Relo Redac, and Flatrate Moving. They're also an accomplished independent actor, starring in numerous shorts from comedy to action and everything in between.

Kat has participated in a Master's class under the personal tutelage of Kathleen Turner, and has studied commercial acting under Batt Johnson. They've also studied martial arts under the carefully trained eye of Master Damon Honeycutt. Their love of science fiction, fantasy and comics will always draw Kat towards the more esoteric and adventurous roles, but their quirky accident-prone nature and dry sarcasm keeps them grounded.

Aaron "Duckie" Lirette is a writer and voice actor out of New Orleans, Louisiana. A peddler of local history and cultural facts, he has recently retired as a city tour guide. He now serves as a nameless figment on the street cars of New Orleans dispensing his knowledge to strangers. His pervious credits are from the video game Wizard's Quest and the podcast Witchever Path. A Masquerade player for over 20 years, he swore he'd never play a Toreador. We see how that worked out...

Luke Hales

 

Luke is glad to be part of Port Saga in general and stoked to portray Alexander Quill in all his sadistic capriciousness.

He is an active Dungeons & Dragons player and has previously been a member of Houston’s Vampire: The Masquerade LARP group, the Mind’s Eye Society. He also has fond memories of staying up all night playing Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines back in the day.

He is an actor who has appeared recently as Wadsworth in Clue, Alan Raleigh in God of Carnage, Titus in Titus Andronicus, Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, and the Voice of Audrey 2 in Little Shop of Horrors.

He also appeared on Jeopardy! in 2016 and has the picture with Alex Trebek to prove it.

Marta is an award-winning polyglot actress and voice performer trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, RADA, and The Globe Theatre. She has been part of a wide array of audio productions, including roles in games by Ubisoft, Creative Assembly, Remedy Games, Creepy Jar Games, Primebit Games, Naraven Games, and Wispfire; as well as performances in audio dramas like Barred (B7 Media, BBC4), Venna’s Planet (B7 Media, Audible), The Sojourn (Spacedock), Apollyon (Observer Pix), Homicide at Heavensgate (Sentinel Studios), Neon Shadows (Blubrry Podcasting), Roguemaker, Dining in the Void (Zebulon Podcasts), and Jackie the Ripper (Stak. Media).

Besides acting she enjoys gaming, language learning (she’s on her 6th one at the moment), photography, music, baking, reading, and travelling.

Riley Silverman is a writer, comedian, and professional geek. An author of Star Wars books, Riley is also a contributing writer for Nerdist and Fandom, the award-winning sci-fi podcast, Bubble, as well as SYFY's Forgotten Women of Genre limited podcast series. She has rolled dice on numerous actual-play D&D and roleplaying shows, including in the role of Braga for the official tabletop adaptation of Rat Queens and as GM on the Doctor Who TTRPG series Game of Rassilon. Her comedy album Intimate Apparel was a #1 bestseller. She lives in Los Angeles, California.

Michelle Nguyen Bradley

 

Michelle Nguyen Bradley is a show host, voice actor, producer, and professional TTRPG player, who is passionate about fostering community and equality in the geek space. She's played characters like Hoa Sen on Critical Role, a butterfly alien on Paizo's Scoured Stars campaign, Betty on the official Rat Queen's RPG at HyperRPG and many more personas through her work on RPG shows. She's done geek content like MCing on Anime Expo's Main Stage, producing and hosting the Manga Book Club for Viz Media and "Button Mash" on the Total Nerd Network, and more! Michelle currently appears as a regular cast member for Idle Champions, Paizo and Hunters Entertainment's weekly TTRPG shows on Twitch. Greg Berry

 

Greg Berry has been an RPG fan since playing D&D in the 80’s and has been flying his nerd flag ever since. He got tricked into NPC'ing at a Vampire LARP in the late 90's, and to say he got hooked is a bit of an understatement. He's been a LARP player and storyteller for more than twenty years, with special places in his heart for Vampire: The Masquerade (Praise Caine!) and Wraith: The Oblivion. He's also appeared on the Twitch show Death from Above: Legacy, a Battletech-themed gaming drama, because who doesn't love stompy-mech action?

Seán Patrick Judge

Seán Patrick Judge was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, where he grew up to study Theatre and French at the University of Iowa. At age 25, he moved to Chicago, and then New York to work extensively on stage. Upon moving to Houston in 2004, Seán began working more in small film projects and voice over work. Seán has been most recently heard in anime projects like the new English dub of Venus Wars, Hero Mask, Dororo, Babylon and Vinland Saga. On stage, he has performed most recently in AD Players production of It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Stephanie is an award-nominated Australian voice actor, Twitch streamer, writer, and devoted fan of the strange and unusual. She discovered her love for voice acting while completing her MA in creative writing, and has been featured in numerous audio dramas, video games, and other projects. Celebrated for her unique voice, sharp wit, and Aussie charm, she aspires to fill the world with wonderful stories! Stephanie currently resides in London. 

Matthew Webb

 

Matthew Webb is a content creator, writer, and game designer living in Austin, Texas. He was first introduced to Vampire: The Masquerade through LARP, which ignited a decades-long passion for the World of Darkness. He goes by Matt Stormcrow online, where he makes videos and snarky comments about all sorts of role-playing games. He is the Creative Lead for The Night in Question, the officially licensed Sabbat Vampire: The Masquerade LARP that runs yearly in Texas.

Andrew J. Alandy

 

Andrew J. Alandy is an actor, host, singer, stunt fighter, TTRPG streamer, and competitive gamer from Los Angeles, CA. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he has worked in various projects such as Art of War (2009) and Home Away (2017). He was featured on Anime Expo's broadcast as one of the live-stream hosts in both 2020 and 2021 and serves as one of the lead commentators for the Jazzy Circuit, the tournament series for Street Fighter 3: Third Strike (2019-current). In addition, he is one of the Sypher Knights at the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball, one of the largest masquerade ball events in the country!

After taking time to venture into the world of tabletop gaming, including streamed content on The Initiative Order, The Geek Lyfe, and Creators Assemble, he is excited to dive into the world of Vampire: The Masquerade after witnessing many of his friends get into it with their streamed content, and he could not be more thrilled to utilize his voice to bring Dante to life... or should we say, unlife?

Brad Hardwicke

 

Brad Hardwicke is a passionate LARP runner and designer based in Western Australia. They have been running Vampire LARP games in Australia since 2007. Brad is passionate about collaborative storytelling across new media and creating Gothic horror experiences in the Nordic LARP tradition.

Brad publishes content on TikTok for ExeterByNight as well as other Vampire: The Masquerade content.

Roxy Hales

 

Roxy was a Vampire: The Masquerade LARPer in college and was a member of Mind’s Eye Society in Houston. She is grateful to be a part of that world again in Port Saga. When not working on a project, she is most likely hiding in her closet, because it’s quiet in there.

Gabrielle Adkins

 

Gabrielle Adkins is an actress, director, voiceover artist and filmmaker based in New York City. Originally an Air Force brat from the South, she came to New York to study acting at the Atlantic Acting School. Once graduated, Gabrielle created the independent production company, L2G Productions with her close friend and classmate Mahima Saigal, through which she has produced and directed several short films and web series. In addition to filmmaking, she has performed in The Crucible, A Pier Drawn in Chalk at The Secret Theatre, a Hamlet adaptation, May Violets Spring, and the web series, Adult the Series, Let Nina Prosper, and The Single Man. She has lent her voice to Madame Stephanie St. Clair on the Top 30 Apple Podcast Drama, Harlem Queen, The Courtship of Mona Mae, MonkeyTales’ Gardens, Two Flat Earthers Kidnap a Freemason, and the upcoming podcast 1972.

Aven Gonzalez

 

Aven Gonzalez is a Graphic Designer, Post Production Generalist, and Game Designer by trade. By craft they are a seasoned "Bard of Many Things;" performer of all things stage, dance, and music. They have a lifetime of experience in music and theater starting since they could hold an instrument. They developed their skills through various high schools, college, and community theater projects in Los Angeles, CA and Savannah, Georgia. They are also a seasoned director, having worked extensively on both sides of the camera and stage. They bring that expertise, team spirit, and precision with them to their performance. And they do it with a mind towards kindness, caring, and humility. Always treating every project like a new learning opportunity regardless of how often they have done a thing.

A massive tabletop gaming nerd, they are excited to be joining the cast of Port Saga! They hope everyone enjoys their contribution to the story, and perhaps accidentally help you discover a new favorite character. ;)

Ken Pickering

Ken Pickering is the co-founder of Reverie Studios, an experience design/LARP company in Boston, MA. He's been writing, running, assisting and producing immersive experiences for more than a decade. He has also been acting, singing and playing music for much longer, which were the things that got him into LARP in the first place. Ken has long been a fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, which took him as far as Berlin, where he participated in Enlightenment in Blood and assisted running the White Wolf LARP End of the Line

When Ken isn't pretending to be a vampire, he runs engineering for a growth phase startup and enjoys time with his partner and two daughters. 

Janeka Rector

 

Janeka Rector has been in love with vampires and the things that go bump in the night since she was a child. She was introduced to Vampire: The Masquerade in 1995 as a teenager and has been a huge fan of the game ever since. In addition to LARP, she loves anime, K & J dramas, and soap operas. She recently appeared in the streaming shows Death From Above and Death From Above: Legacy.

Andrew Biss

 

With an extensive background in theatre and film acting, Andrew has just recently been exploring the world of audio drama. Currently, he can be heard voicing Dr. Jack Seward in the Public Domain Players’ newest production of Dracula; as the family patriarch in Third Time Lucky Productions’ Elizabeth R; and performs multiple characters in the upcoming 1950s noir thriller The Honeytrap. He is delighted to join the cast of season 2 of Vampire: The Masquerade Port Saga and to be a part of this captivating series.

 Andrew is also a professional playwright and the author of the best-selling books Monologues They’ll Remember You By, Ten-Minute Plays: The Comedy Collection, and The Meta Plays. Jenifer Manning

 

Jenifer Manning currently works in the theme park entertainment industry at both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida. She has a BA in Theatre Performance from Salisbury University and is recently breaking into voice over work. When she isn’t attending beloved characters, she works as a professional mermaid performing at children’s parties and private events.

Logan Michael Boese

 

Logan Boese is an indigenous writer and performer, descended from the Apsáalooke tribe. He has worked with the Coyote & Crow Tabletop RPG, Vampyre Magazine, and multiple other projects in his time as a professional creative. Storytelling is his passion, language is his favorite toy, and he's a big believer that words are like duct-tape, in that you can rarely have too-many, and the right application can fix most things. (This has historically not always gone well, but that's why Logan studies language, and not history!)

Ray Stakenas

 

Ray Stakenas has his hand in a lot of cookie jars. Ray is the host of the Who Would Win Show and Knowing is Half the Podcast and is the mastermind behind Reclaimed Detroit: A Vampire the Masquerade Audio Drama. (VampireDetroit.com) When not talking into a mic, Ray works on video games such as Octopath Traveler, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Ray currently lives in Los Angeles and is hungry to take on more VO projects if anyone is asking.
